How Can a Psychological Assessment Support Your Child?

Children and adolescents sometimes express challenges through their behaviour, and often, it is unclear what type of support they might need. A psychological assessment can help uncover what might be going on beneath the surface and provide answers to questions you or your child may have about their behaviour, emotions, learning, or development.

You might be wondering:

  • Is my child meeting developmental milestones?
  • Why are they struggling to make or maintain friendships?
  • Are they highly distractible at home and in the classroom?
  • How does my child learn best?
  • Are they falling behind in their academic skills compared to grade expectations?
  • Do they seem to be having more difficult days than positive ones?

These questions are valid — and you’re not alone in asking them. Our team is here to help you gain clarity and provide your child with the support they need to thrive.

We have extensive experience in a wide range of psychological assessments for children and adolescents, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments
  • Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessments
  • Cognitive assessments
  • Academic assessments
  • Behavioural assessments
  • School-based observations

We proudly support families in NSW Western Sydney, including the Hills District, Norwest, Parramatta, Penrith, Glenbrook, and surrounding suburbs.
